About Our Organization (FGSEWC) 

Established in 2012, we are a collective of seven families who have come together with a commitment to assuring that our adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ( whom we refer to as “self advocates (SA/s),”) have the opportunities and support to live healthy, safe, professional and community based lives of their choosing. We are committed to the long-term health and sustainability of our organization and creating sustainable and person centered, self-directed lives for our self-advocates that will flourish long after parents are gone and our ‘next in line’ Guardians assume their supporting roles.

Support Staff

Position Description

Our Support Staff  work closely as a team to provide home, work, and community based services and opportunities. Tasks may include cooking assistance, as well as participating in leisure activities at home and in the community. Trustworthy staff support helps maintain each young adult's unique life, leading to their success and happiness. These positions allow for a flexible but regular schedule and great pay in Waukesha County and Milwaukee County. There are openings in Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Elm Grove, and New Berlin. 

This Support Staff position is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with others, is interested in a career working with those who have disabilities, and for someone who enjoys having fun at work.
